March/April 2015

The snows are melting, we’ve found our instruments underneath and we’re heading out on tour! In April, we’ll visit England for shows in Manchester, Cambridge (the other one), and London – then it’s on to Turkey where we’ll play a “cine-concert” at the Istanbul Film Festival. From there we jet all the way west to Seattle for a special show at the EMP Museum, during their annual Pop Conference. And …continue…

Thank you to all in the UK who welcomed us and our new project, “Fortune”! It was exciting for us to play Naomi’s film and the songs we’ve written for it in front of a live audience. We’re working on recording those songs now, and plan to continue sharing this project. More on that as it develops… While in Glasgow we commissioned a new logo from the junior Youngs, the …continue…

Kassin - Sonhando Devagar

Our record label 20-20-20 has a new release, a gorgeous LP (with 3-D artwork and glasses, we don’t do things halfway here at D&N headquarters!) by the Brazilian musician and producer Kassin. Sonhando Devagar [Dreaming Slowly] is probably the happiest of sad hits in our catalogue – it’s from Brazil after all – but the lyrics also rank it among our strangest. Hope you enjoy it as thoroughly as we …continue…
